The owner is very nice! Gay owned, and operated, but i would say, the customers are cowboys, i would say its more on the leather side. Yes, it is very casual...jeans and t-shirts. Rarely see someone in a colared shirt.

Friendly mixed crowd, laidback, good place to hang out and drink beer with buds, play pool, maybe make a new friend. ;-)

The Bolt is the best bar in Sacramento for Cowboys, Leathermen and Bears. Guys who go to this bar are friendly and fun! Staff is super friendly and they have a lot of funs events, especially on the weekends. If you are in Sacramento definitely put The Bolt as one of your list of things to do. If you see me, don't hesitate to come up and say "hi".

A good all-purpose Man's bar. Levi's, Leather, Bears, blue collar types. Great fire pit in the back, along with sand volleyball court, covered porch. Beer busts and BBQ's on Sundays and many other events throughout the year.

was good but now that shane and josh are no longer working there it sucks only guys that would make a good drink and be nice to you real shame the way then were let go after 10 years there

There are a few gay clubs here in Sacramento. But only one is thought of when you mention Levis, Leather, Bears,or Cowboys. You will rarely see women here. Not that they are not welcome. But its just not the type of bar women seem to like.
