Something in it for everyone. Upstairs Leather bar with fetish room. Downstairs has a full billiard room, Karaoke night on Thursdays. Machine is full dance club in the basement, with occasional theater shows.

Nice place, everyone is welcomed, wish it were a bit more renovated, cleaner, but still enjoy it very much, but I hardly ever have the time to go and enjoy it.

The bar/club scene in Boston is very very very sad. And this place is at the top of the list. It is not the same since Machine opened downstairs 10 years ago. On Friday nites, there is a lot of suspicious activity outside -usually after the club closes. Let's just say that I would not go there and stay til closing. This used to be a safe neighborhood. Not anymore. Saturday nites are dead as a doornail and the rest of the week forget about it. Save your money and go to the Alley Bar (Bears) on Saturday night!

IT used to be one of the best places around and has fallen to to many ST8 college girls and boys going there for machine--the "fun " back-room is NO long as Much fun as it used to be.

Thanks for bring back the 'old' leather or shirtless backroom on friday & saturday nights. Still needs to be more strict on these nights on who is allow in.

Ramrod, has the best sound sytem in town and always a good DJ, friday's best! I hang in the leather back room large bar and larger cruise sound room with stage for events dark and enticing,, but...! the bar is catering to too many groups lelather/levi upstairs young jock down and tv queen crowd in the dance floor. the distinct rooms keep it seperate but lately straight couples are coming in and going into the back room to gawk at the gay leather men..it's damn embarrasing for a leather bar in Boston to be doing that.. what's up whith that manager. During leather events like fits like a glove or leather gatherings it can be quite good.. lots of attitude typical of in-city bars but there's always the exceptions and the wait staff is good and drinks are good prices are typical at 4/6 I go on Fridays saturdays are dead unless there's something going on.Sunday's are dinnner for 7 bucks at 8 PM and upstairs dance in the leather room.
